PALO ALTO, California — production of the brand new 2016 Tesla model X electric SUV is "increasing exponentially," Tesla Motors said on Sunday because it issued a document on its 2015 deliveries.
The model X debuted in late September.
Tesla delivered 208 of them in the fourth quarter of 2015. It stated 507 model X automobiles were produced during that quarter, with the remainder to be delivered in early 2016.
"model X deliveries are in line with the very early stages of our mannequin X construction ramp as we prioritize great specially else," Tesla said.
Tesla will begin making 238 model X SUVs per week, the company mentioned.
Key mannequin X rivals comprise the BMW X6, Porsche Cayenne and Land Rover range Rover game.
The electrical begin-up delivered 50,580 autos in 2015, together with the Tesla model S sedan.
